New trailed subsoiler added to HE-VA range of cultivation equipment
The HE-VA range of cultivation equipment has been further expanded with the launch, at LAMMA, of a trailed subsoiler, available in working widths of 5m and 6m, with 9 and 11 subsoiler legs respectively.
Like its mounted counterparts, the new HE-VA trailed subsoiler has a low draft leg and point which lowers the hp requirement and diesel usage. The V formation of the subsoiler legs reduces soil squeeze and further contributes to a lower hp requirement. It is rated for tractors of up to 600hp.
The machines are designed with a large under-frame clearance; depth control is adjustable hydraulically from the tractor seat; and both hydraulic reset and shearbolt protection are available.
The new trailed subsoiler comes as standard with 200mm wide cast steel points, or alternatively can be fitted with 120 and 350mm points. Also standard is a 700mm V Profile roller, front wing support wheels, and a heavy duty frame which folds down to a 3m transport width.
The HE-VA trailed subsoiler on display on the OPICO stand [G45] at LAMMA is a 6m 11 leg machine with shearbolt leg protection and a 700mm V Profile Roller. It retails at £41,424 +VAT.
