New demonstrator and tech support appointed for machinery manufacturer
OPICO has appointed a new demonstrator, John Hulland, to showcase the Company's range of arable and grassland cultivation and seeding equipment at on-farm demos and events. He will also be assisting with enquiries on the newly launched Nitro-jet liquid fertiliser applicator and provide additional technical support in the service department.
John has machinery experience both from growing up on a farm, and latterly working as a service engineer for five years at Murley Agricultural Services in Worcestershire where he received training on New Holland, Manitou and Kverneland machinery. He was also an examiner for the National Sprayer Testing Scheme.
Amongst the equipment that John will be demonstrating in his new role are HE-VA's Fanterra seed drill and OPICO Variocast seed drill. With his experience of sprayers, John will be the first point of contact for enquiries about the new Nitro-jet liquid fertiliser applicator. He will also be responsible for carrying out the till-seeding of oilseed rape crops at a range of trial sites throughout the UK.
OPICO managing director James Woolway adds: "John's previous experience means he can understand the needs of both customers and dealers and this makes him ideally suited for demonstrating our machinery ranges as well as supporting dealers on technical issues."
To arrange a machinery demonstration or to enquire about the Nitro-jet, John can be contacted at OPICO's headquarters in Bourne on tel: 01778 421111.
